I’m Nick, a CPA and Owner of Nick Dunham Bookkeeping, L.L.C.

I’m a husband, dad, and business owner just like you. I currently live in Texas with my wife and two sons. When I’m not serving my clients, I love doing anything outdoors and shuttling my sons to soccer, golf, tennis, Taekwondo, and music lessons.

I graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting. Following graduation I worked at a regional bank for several years right out of college and realized that I wanted to focus my career on working with entrepreneurs and small business owners. Seeing small business owners’ need for both legal and accounting skills, I graduated from Southern University Law Center with a Juris Doctorate (law degree). I spent the next several years working as a dual practitioner Attorney/CPA and bookkeeper helping clients throughout the life cycle of their business, including forming their new business entity, setting up QuickBooks, monthly/quarterly bookkeeping, and preparing tax filings.

Due to relocations with my wife’s employer, I decided to close my practice and joined the Houston office of Ernst & Young LLP as a fully dedicated tax professional. Though I gained valuable experience at Ernst & Young LLP, I still had the desire to help entrepreneurs and small business owners take control of their business finances and use financial data to drive success. So here I am with Nick Dunham Bookkeeping, L.L.C.
